About Sara Moskowitz

Sara Moskowitz is a somatic psychotherapist. She helps people unlock the wisdom contained in their bodies while addressing the issues coming up in their lives. Somatic Experiencing allows the body to move through anxiety and trauma symptoms on a deeper level than talk therapy alone. Sara’s clients often report leading more embodied, richer, and more fulfilling lives after getting in touch with their bodies.

Sara balances her extensive formal training (see below) with her intuition and a knack for knowing what intervention might support a particular client best. She works with folks from all over Chicago, including her hometown of Oak Park and is licensed to provide telehealth services throughout Illinois.

Sara is a mother (to two human babies and one dog baby) and it is her greatest honor to watch them grow up. Her guilty pleasures include sub-par reality tv shows and shopping for office supplies that she doesn’t need. She is also an artist and often work with clients who are looking to embrace a creative outlet.
